Train your brain. Like you train your body.
Eva Schneider – Mentally in form Logo

Mental strength is not a coincidence – it is the result of targeted training. Just as the body grows stronger through consistent, systematic training, the mind can be trained too.

Repetition. Progression. Consistency. These are the principles that work in physical training – and the very same ones I apply to mental training.

The goal: a mind that performs under pressure. That focuses when it matters most. That stays stable even in difficult moments.

Ready for Game Day

Competition, exam, performance, presentation – when it counts, your mind needs to deliver. I support you in preparing specifically for high-pressure situations: visualization, focus routines, activation control and mental competition preparation.

Sustainable Stress Management & Emotional Balance

Constant pressure, high expectations and emotional strain wear you down – in sport as in everyday life. I help you build a stable mental foundation: resilience, self-regulation and inner calm that carry you even under pressure.

Athletes

Competitive, elite and recreational sport. Whether individual or team sport – mental training gives you the decisive edge when it counts.

Coaching Staff

Coaches who know their athletes' mental cues and strategies can reinforce them consistently in everyday training. Mental training begins on the training ground.

Parents

Parents play a key role in shaping the mental environment of young athletes. Their behavior before and after competitions, their expectations and their communication can effectively support mental training.

Personal Development

Mental strength is called for in everyday life too. Anyone who wants to stay clear-headed under pressure and manage stress at work, in exam situations or during personal change processes benefits from the same methods that athletes use in sport.

Mental Training with
a Methodical Foundation

Nice to meet you. I'm Eva Schneider, a certified mental trainer with a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Zurich, and a former competitive athlete. I know from my own experience what it means to perform under pressure: as a multiple Swiss champion, European champion and World Championship medalist in karate, I haven't just studied the mental demands of competitive sport – I've lived them.

This combination of scientific grounding and lived competitive experience is the foundation of my work. I speak the language of athletes, because I am one myself. I apply methods that hold up to psychological scrutiny. Mental training is not a motivational event – it's systematic skill development.

My work is aimed at two target groups: athletes of all levels who want to specifically develop their mental performance in sport, and people without a sporting background who want to work on their personal development. Focus control, pressure regulation, self-regulation and mental resilience are skills that are just as effective in competition as in everyday working life, exam situations or personal change processes.

What I Offer

Every service is tailored to the individual's context. The methods are evidence-based and directly applicable to real-life situations, whether in competition or everyday life.

Individual Coaching – Sport

Individual mental training as part of a structured training cycle. It begins with a targeted assessment: which mental skills are already present, and where are the biggest levers? Building on this, various techniques such as visualization, focus control, activation regulation, self-talk and competition preparation are systematically developed, anchored in training and transferred to competition. Progress is documented, enabling targeted development throughout the entire training cycle.

All Performance Levels

Group Sessions

Structured mental training sessions for teams or training groups. Goal-setting, collective visualization and focus exercises directly within the training environment. On request, coaches and parents can be specifically included in the process: coaches who know the mental cues and strategies can reinforce them consistently in everyday training. Parents, especially of younger athletes, help shape the mental environment – their behavior before and after competitions, as well as their communication, can effectively support mental training.

Teams and Groups

Competition Preparation

Short program in the two to three weeks before a competition. Building a personal pre-competition protocol, pressure simulation and mental consolidation. Ideally builds on individual coaching or group sessions.

COMPETITIVE AND ELITE SPORT

Personal Development

The same methods that work in sport can be applied specifically to everyday life. The focus is on dealing with pressure and expectations, gaining inner clarity in decision-making situations, self-regulation in stressful moments, and building mental resilience. The starting point is a joint clarification of personal concerns and goals. Building on this, suitable techniques are taught and tried out in everyday life, whether as a one-time session or over a longer period.

Regardless of Sporting Background
